Disposal of dirt, waste concrete and debris removed shall be the responsibility of the contractor. City will provide any pipe and grates required. Contractor will install at a negotiated price. All headwalls will be constructed using City of Lamar Standard Drawing. Price shall include excavation and recompaction, rock base, form work and joint replacement. All inlet boxes shall be constructed per City of Lamar Standard Drawing. Price shall be based on largest pipe at box. Price shall include excavation and recompaction, rock base, and form work. Curb and gutters will be constructed per City of Lamar Standard Drawing. Price shall include all excavation and recompaction, rock base, form work and joint replacement. Flatwork concrete price shall be based on 4000 psi fiber reinforced 4-inch-thick at sidewalks and 6 inch thick at pavements, including a 2 inch sand or pea gravel base at sidewalks and 6 inch rock base at pavements and saw cutting transverse joints at 5' intervals on sidewalks. Concrete removal will include breaking, as necessary, removal and hauling to city designated location, typically south of lagoon. Measurements in square yards shall be taken prior to removal. The above price shall include all labor, materials (except as noted), bailing, shoring, disposal of removed materials, overhead, profit, insurance, etc., to cover the finished work of the several kinds called for. The City retains the right to reject all bids or to select different bidders for various items. An estimate of costs for work beyond the scope of bid items shall be approved by the City prior to commencement of work. The Bidder further agrees that this bid will be good and may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for the receiving of bids. Upon receipt of written notice of the acceptance of this bid, same Bidder shall execute the formal contract attached within ten (10) days as required in the General Conditions.
