Fire Safety Alarm System Replacement to Lamar High School Campus The Lamar R-I School District is seeking proposals for replacing the Fire Safety Alarm System at Lamar High School and Lamar Career and Technical Center on the Lamar High School Campus. This renovation project includes completely removing and replacing the current system with an up-to-date one that meets all Barton County Fire Safety and current School Safety Codes. Proposals must be returned on the form provided. In addition, a proposal must consist of all pages of the proposal request, including the signature page signed by an authorized firm representative. The bidder must provide two references with their bid proposal. Non-conformance with these instructions may be grounds for rejection of the proposal. The contract will be awarded based on the proposal that best meets the District's needs, as determined by the District. The Lamar R-I School District reserves the right to reject any proposals or any part thereof and waive technicalities in the RFP process. Any such decision shall be considered final. -Removal of outdated fire alarm system -Installation of smoke detectors and sensors throughout the Lamar High School Campus -Installation of new fire alarm horns and strobes throughout the Lamar High School Campus -Connect Wellness Center to High School and LCTC buildings -Additional needs, per contractor recommendations -Project must be completed prior to March 1, 2024. -All Bids must comply with current minimum fire safety standards and ADA.
