The City of Troy Bureau of Engineering desires to engage private consulting firms for electrical contracting services for the purpose of providing a full-range of electrical services required by the City of Troy. Electrical Contracting Services may include but are not limited to: o Installation, Replacement, or Relocation of Street Lights o Installation or Modification of Electrical Services o Installation of Underground Conduit o Installation of Overhead or Underground Wiring o Temporary Removal of Poles o Emergency Response, as needed (within 2-hours) o Cataloging or Mapping of Electrical Infrastructure o Testing for Stray Voltage o Installation or Maintenance of Building Systems o Other Electrical Services as Required The City of Troy, NY is soiciting sealed bids for a term contract of three (3) years for qualified electrical contracting services related to the management, maintenance, and improvement, and improvements of City-owned systems, performed on behalf of the Bureau of Engineering. The work shall generally consist of electrical repair, or other electrical work associated within the City of Troy as specified be the City Engineer. Inquiries or questions regarding this request shall be forwarded to the Purchasing Agent via e-mail. All questions will be received no later than March 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm. A certified check, payable to the City Treasurer, for five (5 %) percent of the amount of the bid, or a bid bond of the same must accompany each bid.
