CONSTRUCTION OF UNDERGROUND ELECTRIC PRIMARY AND STREET LIGHT CIRCUITRY, INCLUDING THE INSTALLATION OF CABLES, BOX PADS, GROUND SLEEVES, PEDESTALS, AND OTHER RELATED EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Question Deadline 03/15/2023 The Work is generally described as follows: Underground electric distribution The construction herein specified is for Electric Distribution Conversion - 2023 for City of Madison, South Dakota. The specifications shall cover the labor and material for all equipment required to complete the work. The Contractor shall realize that the work specified herein consists of underground primary and secondary cable installation on existing right-of-way or easements, including the installation of box pads, conduit, and other equipment, all as shown on the staking sheets. The Contractor shall take all necessary precautions in avoiding existing utilities.
