Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Rohnert Park, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The work is described generally as the following: 1. New water main, storm drain pipe and bioretention on Dowdell Avenue between Golf Course Drive West and Business Park Drive. 2. Extended Dowdell Avenue, curb and gutter, planter and Road to receive lime treated base, aggregate base and hot mix asphalt structural section for entire length. 3. Restoration of surface improvements, striping, markings and other incidentals at Golf Course Drive West and Business Park Drive. 4. Minor traffic signal modifications at Golf Course Drive West and Dowdell Avenue. Payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the bid total will be required from the successful bidder for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The bond must be provided within fifteen (15) calendar days from notice of award and prior to the performance of any work. A performance bond and bid bond must also be provided for bids exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000). The Contractor must have a valid California contractor's license, a Class A license. The City reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to reject any or all bids, to re-bid, or to waive inconsequential defects in bidding not involving time, price or quality of the work. The City may reject any and all bids and waive any minor irregularity in the bids. The Engineer's estimate for this Project is $4,061,540. The Contractor must begin work within fifteen (15) calendar days after official notice by the City Engineer to proceed with the work and must diligently prosecute the same to completion within 120 working days of that Notice.
