Option: NON THE JACQUES CARTIER AND CHAMPLAIN BRIDGES INCORPORATED, a body corporate having its Head Office in the City of Longueuil, province of Quebec, Canada, established by the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority Act and herein acting and exercising its powers as an agent of Her Majesty in right of Canada (hereafter referred to as "Owner") invites you to submit a proposal for Contract No 62716 / Champlain bridge Estacade, Clement bridge and Jacques-Cartier bridge, underwater inspection services (2023-2025), (hereafter referred to as << Contract >>). A firm that has participated in the monitoring of the Owner's multi-structure underwater inspections shall not submit a proposal or act as a subcontractor under this Request for Proposals. If requested, the annual minimum fee for Cognibox membership is $800 before taxes.

The submission of a proposal constitutes an assertion that the proponent has read all Request for Proposal Documents and agrees to the conditions therein set forth. This Contract is covered by Chapter 5 Procurement of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement and by Chapter 19 Government procurement of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement. Procurement strategy: proposal that represents the best overall value. Please fill the "Technical Offer" (Section 4) and "Financial Offer" (Section 5) forms as outlined in the "Instructions to Consultants" (Section 2). No proposals received after the above closing date and time will be accepted. The time and date of receipt of the proposals will be deemed to be the date and time indicated on the email transmitted to the Owner.
The Consultant may submit its proposal in either of Canada's two (2) official languages. The Owner does not bind itself to accept any proposal, notably if the Owner determines that it is not in the public interest to award the Contract. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
