The City of Dover, New Hampshire is requesting price quotations for the disposal of soft yard waste such as grass and leaves collected at the Dover Recycling Center. The City is seeking a one (1) year agreement effective on or about April 1, 2023 with the option to extend two (2) additional one-year terms contingent upon funding availability and satisfactory vendor performance. Rate increases, if any, for additional years will not exceed the Consumer Price Index (Boston) The City of Dover reserves the right to waive any formality, informality, information and/or errors in the proposals submitted and the right to reject any or all proposals at its discretion and to accept the proposal which will be in the best interest of the City; or to purchase on the open market if it is considered in the best interest of the City to do so. Any questions or inquiries must be submitted in writing, and, in order to be considered, must be received by the Purchasing Agent (k.cragin@dover.nh.gov) no later than seven (7) calendar days before the Request for Bid's due date and time. Any changes to the Request for Bid will be provided to all Proposers of record The City currently delivers approximately 125 loads or trips with a 40-yard container, with each load in the 6 to 7 ton range. The location for use should be plowed, piles turned regularly so there is a spot to dump, and fields mowed so the City encounters no issues dumping yard waste. The facility must be properly licensed and approved by applicable local and State authorities. If requested, the successful vendor shall provide proof of pertinent licensure or approvals.
