Site work for a water / sewer project in Knoxville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Notice to Proceed on or before April 10, 2023 Required Substantial Completion April 10, 2024 This work is to be bid only by KUB pre-qualified contractors in the following areas: 4.2 Gas Utility Construction, Unlimited. Bids will not be accepted from contractors who are not pre-qualified in the referenced categories prior to the bid opening. Cut off Time for questions is March 16, 2023 4:00PM Work shall include installation of approximately 2,300 linear feet of 6" MDPE gas main, 17,700 linear feet of 2" MDPE gas main, 22 road bores, 2 creek bores, 176 service reconnects / installs, and 28 tie-ins. This work will be spread across 4 locations: o Wade Lane - 2,100 LF of 2" MDPE o Cherokee Ridge - 3,600 LF of 2" MDPE o Highland View - 2,300 LF of 6" MDPE and 500 LF of 2" MDPE o Chervue / Fountaincrest - 11,500 LF of 2" MDPE The Work also includes traffic control, installation of gas valves, connections to existing facilities, and condemn of existing gas facilities. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the drawings and the Contract Documents. CONTRACTOR will provide all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals as required to restore the Site to a condition equal to or better than the Site condition which existed prior to the initiation of the Work activities.
