Reference Number 0000313180 The City of Knoxville is requesting submissions of proposals from responsible firms to provide daily monitoring and cleanup of the Tennessee River, starting at the Forks of the Rivers (mile 652.2) and covering the entire river, publicly owned river banks, public access points including public fixed piers and floating platforms south to the end of Sequoyah Park (mile 641.2). This area is known as the no trash zone. Services will include daily monitoring and removal of all visible debris, trash and hazardous or potentially hazardous objects for navigational safety and recreational aesthetics.
