Site work for a water / sewer project in Brookhaven, New York. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of new 300 plus foot wave break wall for protection of Port Jeff Marina. The wall will protect Marina Bulkheading and diminish the need to dredge so boats can properly navigate the Harbor. There is a permanent walk way to the gas dock that will be protected as well due to the wave wall installation. As of September 29, 2023, this project is included Town of Brookhaven FY 2023 - 2027 Budget CIP. Information regarding a design team and the contractor selection has not been disclosed. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly.
