Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Cambridge, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The City is seeking qualified professional work from a construction/contracting company to undertake the partial reconstruction works of wood timber seating in a public park that has exceeded life expectancy. The work is located at the Mill Race Amphitheatre within Mill Race Park at 36 Water Street North, Cambridge and comprises of general construction including but not limited to: partial removal of existing material and the supply and installation of new wood lumber and fasteners. Note: This is not a full reconstruction, it is only replacement to repair existing components. The successful respondent will be professional, have a thorough understanding of the scope of work with an attention to detail, and be diligent with schedules. The amphitheatre at Mill Race Park is used for wedding photos on weekends throughout the year. This reconstruction work must start in October 2023 and be completed no later than November 30th, 2023, to reduce impacts to bookings for wedding photos. This section of the park will be closed for the duration of the construction to allow the work to proceed and protect public safety. All working and storage areas should be protected with wire mesh construction fencing, and construction warning signs as needed. A detailed project schedule shall be provided at project outset. All works will need to be planned through the City's Project Manager and confirmed in advance. Documents can be obtained at: https://cambridge.bonfirehub.ca Award is subject to final approval.
