As of March 27,2023. Project has been awarded to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions, LLC amounting of $116,877.90 A bid bond by acceptable surety or a certified check made payable to Conewago Township in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid must be provided by each bidder with their bid. The successful bidder, when awarded a contract, shall furnish Performance and Payment Bonds (with suitable surety), as specified in the Contract. Notice is hereby given to bidders that this project is not subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended. All proposals must be submitted online Portal and include documents outlined within the specifications. Conewago Township reserves the right to accept any bid or reject any or all bids. DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Contractor shall be responsible for temporary traffic control in accordance with PennDOT Publication 213. The cost thereof shall be incorporated into each Bid Item, as required. No separate payment will be made. The road may be closed during construction, if the Contractor implements a detour plan. The detour plan must be submitted to the Township for approval prior to implementation. A detour plan, advance road closure postings, and door hangers shall be placed at least five (5) calendar days in advance with anticipated construction dates. Pleasant View Drive (T-530) - Beginning at the intersection with Hanover Pike (S.R. 0194) to Dead End. Approximately 800' x variable width; 2,660 S.Y. of Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course. Vincent Drive (T-500) - Beginning at the intersection with Church Street (S.R. 2011) to Dead End. Excluding the intersection with Providence Drive. Approximately 1,700' x variable width; 6,850 S.Y. of Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course Bid Item No. 1: Ultra-Thin Bonded Wearing Course: Furnish, Place, and Compact UltraThin Bonded Wearing Course in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 489. Mix shall be Type B. All mobilization, milling notches (driveways and intersections), joint sealing, and cleanup work shall be considered incidental.
