Site work and paving for a civil project in Townsend, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
CONTRACT NO. 2 Construction of a 5,000 linear foot 12-inch HDPE raw water transmission main to convey water from the Witchs Brook Wells along Ash Street, South Harbor Road, and Harbor Trace Road to the site of a future Water Treatment Plant. The work also includes construction of a 1,115 linear foot 12-inch HDPE finished water main in Harbor Trace Road and roadway restoration. Bid Alternate No. 1 includes construction of approximately 8,600 linear feet of a 12-inch HDPE looping water main along Emery Road, South Row Road, and South Harbor Road, installation of new hydrants, new services to property lines, and roadway restoration. This Work also includes pavement repair, surface restoration and appurtenant work. The goals for this project are a minimum of 4.2 percent D/MBE participation and 4.5 percent D/WBE participation by certified DBEs. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents shall be submitted in writing to the Engineer via the Tighe & Bond website Prospective bidders must be registered users of the web site to submit questions regarding the project. In order to receive consideration, questions must be received by Engineer at least five days prior to the date fixed for the opening of Bids. Question Deadline 03/25/2023
