The contract includes catch basin repair and replacement Town wide. The contract period is for two years with the option to renew the third year at the discretion of the governing body. The Township will not be held responsible for contract documents purchased courier service. Proposals shall be made on the forms provided and made part of the Contract Documents, which shall be submitted intact. A certified check or cashier's check made payable to the order of the Township of Roxbury, or a duly executed Bid Bond, in the amount of 10 percent of each bid, but in no case in excess of $20,000.00 must be deposited by the Bidder together with a Surety Consent evidencing that he can obtain the required Performance Bond. The successful Bidder shall be required to deliver to the Township an executed Performance Bond of a responsible indemnity company authorized to do business in the State of New Jersey. Bidders must comply with the following New Jersey State Statutes: P.L. 1975, C.127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action Program; P.L. 1977, C. 33 Statement of Ownership; N.J.S.A. 40A:11-18 American Goods and Products to be Used Where Possible; P.L. 2004, C57 (N.J.S.A.34:11-56.48) Public Works Contractor Registration; P.L. 2004, Chapter 57 Business Registration of Public Contractors; Non-Collusion Affidavit; Qualifications Statements. The Township of Roxbury reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to waive any minor informalities or irregularities in the proposal received and to accept the proposal which is in the best interest of the Township.
