Plumbing Maintenance Services for the Up Island Regional School District. This will primarily consist of small projects and repairs at the West Tisbury School located 401 Old County Road, West Tisbury, MA, and the Chilmark School located at 8 State Road, Chilmark, MA. Question Deadline 03/13/2023 at 12:00 PM ET SCOPE OF WORK The Contractor(s) shall furnish all labor, tools and equipment necessary for the complete and satisfactoryperformance of plumbing services. All work shall be performed by a licensed Journeyman Plumber or a registeredApprentice Plumber employed by a Master Plumber and working under the direct supervision of a Master or Journeyman Plumber in accordance with Massachusetts General Law, Chapter 142, section 3A (or latest revision). The Contractor shall be expected to perform routine and emergency plumbing and heating services at the West Tisbury School, 401 Old County Road, West Tisbury MA, and the Chilmark School, 8 State Road, Chilmark, MA. Plumbing services include, but are not limited to, oil burners, heating systems, bathroom facilities, grease traps, drinking fountains, piping fixtures, boilers, roof drains/vents, air vents, etc. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, transportation, equipment, tools and supervision necessary for thesatisfactory service, repair and preventative maintenance of all plumbing systems. Contractors shall call a District authorized representative to schedule cleaning of equipment. Contractors shall protect all walls, floors, ceiling, andfurniture from any damage. Damage to the building caused by the Contractor shall be repaired or replaced at theContractor's expense. Contractor shall report all malfunctions or potential problems to the District authorized representative in writingwithin ten (10) days, and provide the District authorized representative with a detailed written proposal includingcost for any action needed. All materials shall be new and of satisfactory quality. All workmanship shall conform to the best practice inthetrade and be performed by skilled and licensed labor in the field and comply with all federal, state and municipal laws and regulations. The District will reject any unsatisfactory services. All services shall be guaranteedfor aperiod of one year, regardless of product warranty. All material and debris from the work shall be removed bytheContractor. The premises shall be left clean at all times.
