The Monroe County School District is seeking bids for the repair and replacement of air conditioning equipment at multiple sites. Contracts will be awarded to vendor(s) on a per site basis, which may include one or multiple sites. Contractor may bid on any or all sites listed. Contractor will include all engineering, labor, and materials to perform one for one replacement of units listed as well as the complete removal of the old systems. All proposals must remain valid for a period of ninety (90) days or until the MCSB approves the contract. The School Board will automatically reject the response of any person or affiliate who appears on the convicted vendor list prepared by the Department of General Services, State of Florida, under Section 287.133(3) (d), F.S. (1997). Recommendation to the District School Board of Monroe County will be based upon a proposal(s) that represent the best interest of the District and award of the contract will be deemed by the board to be in the best interest of Monroe County Start Date: Work is to commence as soon as possible during the summer break which begins for students on June 1, 2023. Contractor is responsible for coordinating with the schools to determine the earliest date to start without interfering (or with minimal impact to) normal operation. Required Completion Date: (non-negotiable) a. All coil replacement work must be complete and operational before 8/1/2023. b. All Condensing Unit replacement work must be complete and operational before 1/1/2024. c. All AHU replacement work must be complete and operational before 8/1/2024.
