Rcps is taking bids to perform renovations and modifications at two identical elementary schools, sims es and hightower trail es. Scope includes and is not limited to hvac system upgrades, controls work, led lighting upgrades, ceiling replacement, fire alarm replacement. It is uggested that, if possible, rfi's, clarifications, etc. This project consists of renovation and modification upgrade work for Sims and Hightower Trail Elementary Schools. The scope generally consists of HVAC replacement and upgrades, controls replacement, fire alarm replacement, lighting replacement, and ceiling replacement. At the time and place noted above, the Bids for the project will be publicly acknowledged. The Contractor submitting a Bid is not required to be present at the bid opening for the Bid to be considered. The basic scope of the work to be performed is as follows: All of the above ceiling corridor heat pumps are to be replaced including hose kits, disconnection and reconnection of ductwork, etc. Grid and ceiling tile in the corridors and other public areas is to be replaced, in conjunction with the heat pump replacement. All lighting through out the building is to be replaced with new LED lighting. The existing energy management system is to be replaced in its entirety. Ceiling tile is to be replaced in all non-public areas, grid to remain. The existing fire alarm system is to be replaced and building brought up to current code for pull stations, annunciation devices, etc. New Energy Recovery Units will be installed. Roof or pad mount HVAC units are to be replaced. Cooling tower will be replaced. Mechanical room will be upgraded. Refrigeration equipment for the freezer and cooler will be replaced. At HTES, switchgear is to be replaced.
