As of December 1, 2023, a consultant has been awarded for this solicitation. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Consultants are required to provide design services for Architectural Services Term Contracts for New York State. Services will be on an as-needed basis and each project's construction value shall not exceed $8 million. The Fund is seeking proposals from architectural consultants to provide a variety of architectural and construction administration services for its various campuses throughout New York State. It Is the Fund's intent to enter into term consulting contracts with multiple firms throughout the State. Selection as a consultant does not guarantee that future work will be awarded. Services may include, but are not limited to: architectural design services for renovations, modifications and reconfigurations of the interior and/or exterior of existing SUNY hospital, academic, research, service and facilities buildings, some of which may be historic, building envelopes, roofing, curtain walls, and fenestrations, elevators, escalator, and related mechanical and electrical services. During construction, provide field administration, inspection, progress reports and manage biweekly progress meetings. Services may also include full design and construction phase services or may be limited to studies, Investigations, feasibility studies or condition assessments. Services will be requested and contracted on an as needed basis and the type and value or each project will vary. The construction value of each assigned project will not exceed $8 million. Interested firms must: (1} have experience providing design services in the geographic region(s} described in the RFQ either directly or with a team of subconsultants; (2} employ experienced staff with thorough knowledge of their area(s} or expertise; and (3} be a New York State licensed and registered architect/engineer. The method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
