As of april 25,2023, project was awarded to Derry Construction Co. Inc., awarded amount is $975,672.90. The project is to resurface roads, two parking lots, and a bridge totaling 3.8 miles (61,310 SY) using approximately 7820 tons of 9.5 MM asphalt (leveling and wearing, 200 tons of asphalt binder, 9100 gallons of tack, 56,000 SY of 2" milling, 19,000 feet of centerline rumble strips, and 120,000 feet of line painting. The minimum wage requirements as determined by the PA Dept of Labor & Industry shall apply to this project. PA DOT prequalification of bidders, including subcontractors for the proposed work is required on this project. Bidders are required to provide Bid Security in the amount of 10% of the total contract price. Liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per day assessed if contract not completed on time.
