Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Cecil Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

For the following projects: Contract No. 4 - Plumbing Construction - REBID This project involves all labor and material for plumbing construction, both interior and exterior, for a Department of Public Works building including, but not limited to: building water supply and plumbing construction; site water and sanitary sewer installation as well as any and all site plumbing work required to complete the plumbing work, complete in place. Contract No. 5 - Mechanical Construction - REBID This project involves all labor and material for mechanical construction for a new Department of Public Works building including, but not limited to: associated building mechanical construction required to complete the mechanical work, complete in place. Contract No. 6 - Fire Protection Construction All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered to all parties recorded as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than seven days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect. This project involves all labor and material for fire protection and suppression construction for a Department of Public Works building including, but not limited to: fire suppression sprinkler system installation; smoke detection installation as well as any and all associated fire protection element installation work required to complete the fire protection work, complete in place. The General Construction Contract, Sanitary Sewer and Water Main Line Extension Construction Contract and Electrical Construction Contract have already been bid and awarded on this project, Contracts 1, 2, 3 and the successful plumbing, mechanical and fire protection contractors shall be subject to coordination as directed by the General Contractor. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages must be paid on these contracts. Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bonds, along with Public Liability and Property Damage Certificates of Insurance in the amounts specified, as well as Certificates of Workman's Compensation must be filed with the executed Agreement. Proposals to receive consideration must be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bidder's Bond from a Surety Company authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, made to the order of Cecil Township in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Proposal as a guarantee that, if the Proposal is accepted, the successful Bidder will enter into an Agreement within 15 days after Notice of the Award of the Contract. The Proposals must be made to Cecil Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, and shall remain firm for a period of sixty (60) days. No Bidder may withdraw his Proposal during the sixty (60) day period without forfeiting his Bid guarantee. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals, or any part thereof, for any reason, and also reserves the right to waive any informality therein.
