The cost estimate for the base bid is approximately $350,000 and the cost estimate for additive alternative #1 is approximately $350,000 for a total of approximately $700,000. Sealed bids are invited for the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Water and Sewer Project Package 3, defined in the Contract Documents. The Project consists of a base bid and one additive alternative. The bid is generally described as installation of approximately 1,211 LF of 12 inches gravity wastewater main, manholes, laterals, and cleanouts. Additive Alternative #1 is generally described as installation of approximately 1,927 LF of 6 inches water main and services within the project limits in the City of Aransas Pass. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternative bid items as indicated in the bid form. questions must be submitted by Monday, March 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM through website in the Q&A portal or to Chris Boentges, P.E., cboentges@kfriese.com. After all questions have been answered, an addendum will be issued on CivCast. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
