The Construction of a new sidewalk trail, installation of box culverts, cleaning and reshaping drainage ditches, excavation, backfilling, and site stabilization as shown on the plans, and as directed by the City of Beaumont. Mobilization. Construct new concrete sidewalk trail in strict accordance with the plans and specifications. Install approximately 36 linear feet (LF) of 3' X 2' Precast Concrete Box Culvert, including all excavation and backfill required. Native soils may be used as final backfill to match surrounding natural ground. Sod or HydroMulch may be used for final stabilization as directed by the specifications. Bidders must submit Bid Bond, Cashier's Check, Certified Check or irrevocable Letter of Credit issued by a bank satisfactory to the Owner, payable without recourse to the order of the City of Beaumont in an amount not less than five (5) percent of the largest possible bid amount as a guaranty that the Bidder will enter into contract and execute bond and guaranty in the form provided within fourteen (14) calendar days after date of Notice of Award of the contract. Bids without required financial security deposit will not be considered. The City reserves the right, after opening Bids, to reject any or all bids or to make award to accept any bid or combination of bids deemed advantageous to it.
