The successful Bidder will be expected to provide construction services as required by the Contract, including but not limited to: a. Create a schedule that achieves substantial completion no later than Friday, August 18, 2023, and Project close out no later than Friday August 25, 2023. The substantial completion shall include all work shown on the drawings and briefly described in the scope of work below. b. Provide, through itself or subcontractors, the necessary supervision, labor, material, equipment, machinery, temporary utilities, and other temporary facilities to permit the complete construction of the Project in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications. c. Exercise complete and exclusive control over the means, methods, sequences, and techniques of construction. d. Employ only subcontractors who are duly licensed and qualified to perform the work consistent with the Contract. The District may reasonably object to contractor's selection of any subcontractor, provided that the Contract price and/or Contract time(s) shall be adjusted to the extent that the District's decision impacts contractor's cost and/or time of performance. e. Provide materials and labor necessary to complete all aspects of the Project Scope of Work as indicated. The Project consists of the removal and disposal of existing flooring, mastic and base material, and procurement and installation of new flooring and base materials for Westridge & Hallinan Elementary School. Also, procurement and storage of the total amount of flooring, and base materials for a total of (4) Elementary School flooring replacement projects including Westridge & Hallinan ES, as noted below: 1. Approximately 110,400 sq.ft. of carpet tile. Note: (Amount includes 20% for cuts). 2. Approximately 2,800 sq.ft. of walk off mat. Note: (Amount includes 20% for cuts). 3. Approximately 4,800 sq.ft. of Resilient Flooring tiles. Note: (Amount includes 10% for cuts). 4. Approximately 18,700 lin.ft. of base. Note: (Amount includes 15% for cuts). Note: quantities noted above does not include attic stock as identified in Specification Sections 09 65 00 and 09 68 13.
