project is to improve Cedar Street between Lincoln Avenue and Spring Street by reconstructing the pavement, replacing the sewer main and laterals, and replacing the water main and services Each Bidder must submit with its bid security in the amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the base bid in one of the following forms: cashier's check made payable to the City, a certified check made payable to the City, or a bidder's bond executed by a corporate surety authorized to engage in such business in the State, made payable to the City The successful bidder will be required to furnish a payment boond in the amount equal to one hundred precent (100%) of the Contract Price, as well as a faithful performance bond, in the amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Price. The City reserves the rught to reject any or all bids: to make any awards or any rejection in what it alone considers to be in the best interest of the city, and waive any informalities or minor irregularities in the bids. By order of the City Council, City of Calistoga, Napa County, California. California Public Contract Code Section 3300, the City has determined that the Contractor shall possess a valid Class A (General Engineering) License at the time that the contract is awarded The contractor and subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records to the Labor Commissioner.
