**As of March 31, 2023, project was awarded to DiMeglio Construction, awarded amount is $309,682.50, start date will not be known until late April or even May of this year.** Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27), Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. and all other applicable Federal, County, State and Municipal laws, rules and regulations. Bids must be made on the standard proposal form and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent (10%) of the amount bid for the proposal or proposal with the highest bid price if there are more than one proposal and for the base bid only if alternate bids are also included in that proposal, provided said bid bond or certified check need not be more than $20,000.00 nor less than $500.00, and a Consent of Surety and be delivered at the place on or before the hour named above. The proposal shall also be accompanied by all forms provided in the Proposal Section of the Specifications or to be submitted by the Bidder and listed in the Checklist. Bidders must comply with their State of New Jersey, Department of Labor "Certificate of Registration" as required by the "Public Works Contractor Registration Act" and State of New Jersey Business Registration Certificate issued by the New Jersey Division of Revenue as required by N.J.S.A. 52:32-44 and Public Law 2004, Chapter 57. The Borough reserves the right to reject any and all bids (a) if Proposals are not accompanied by a bid bond or certified check, (b) if the Proposal forms have not been properly executed, (c) if the prices are obviously unbalanced, (d) if acknowledgments of addenda of the plans, specifications, or contract documents are not submitted with the bid and (e) if the Consent of Surety is not properly submitted and (f) if it is deemed to do so in the best interest of the Borough. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et. seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27-1 et seq.
