The District reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. Prior to the Bid Submission Deadline, any bidder may withdraw its bid in person or by written request. No bids may be withdrawn between the Bid Submission Deadline and the ninetieth(90th) calendar day thereafter, inclusive, and all bids shall be effective throughout that entire ninety (90) day period.
As security for its Bid, each bidder shall provide with its Bid form either(1) a bod bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, (2) cash, or (3) a cashier's check or certified check, drawn to the order of the District, in the amount of ten percent(10%) of the total bid price. This bid security shall be a guarantee that the Bidder shall, within the time frame required in the Project Documents, enter into the contract to perform the Project. Clarifications/RFI's. All requests for clarification must be made via email to: Attn: Dale McCurry at dmccurry@fjuhsd.org no later than March 27, 2023 by 2:00 pm. Work Included: Roof asbestos abatement, roof demolition and replacement with new roofing and all related work associated with this Prime Contractors scope of work. The work to be performed by this prime contractor shall conform to the requirements of all of Division 00 and Division 01, specification sections as well as the Supplemental Conditions, General Notes, Key Notes, and other related documents including Addenda(s). Include the furnishing of all supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, plan and services necessary therefore and incidental thereto to complete the project. If reference is not made to a specific specification section, this does not relieve this prime contractor of his material obligation for specification sections that pertain to his work and are not mentioned herein.
