Renovation of a laboratory facility in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a laboratory facility.
The Contractor must provide all material, labor, tools, plant, supplies, equipment, transportation, superintendence, temporary construction of every nature, and all other services and facilities necessary to complete the construction of a postal facility for the Postal Service, including all incidental work described in the contract documents. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: 1. Architectural: a. Partition wall modifications to isolate rooms receiving Fire Suppression system b. Ceiling replacement Mechanical Design: a. Add fire suppression system b. Isolate mechanical system in areas receiving fire suppression system c. Remove two water-cooled self-contained air handling units and multiple fan powered VAV terminals with electric reheat. Remove associated ductwork, wiring, and controls
