As of April 10, 2023, this project was awarded to Sandvik Builders Inc., awarded amount is $59,625.68. Scope of Work Bremerton Housing Authority (BHA) is soliciting bids to replace the decks on the second story of two apartment buildings and one ground level duplex with the same design layout as current. The contractor will be required to work closely with site staff to coordinate this project so that the impact to tenants is minimal. The work includes all labor, materials, and equipment. Building 2351 12-Plex: 6 decks to be replaced 5’ x 10’ Building 2353 8-Plex: 4 decks to be replaced 5’ x 10’ Building 2325 Duplex: 1 deck to be replaced 8’ x 12’ • Contractor is responsible for project permits, including close-out with inspectors. Please include estimated permit cost in pricing • The deck replacement includes demolition & disposal of the current deck. • Inspection & replacement/repair of any defective siding/framing if needed, paint to match where applicable. • Replacement of footings, piers, ledgers, support columns, beams, joists, decking, fascia, cap rails & balustrades. • Material: Trex decking or equivalent long-lasting composite material. • Clean exterior of building, landscaping, decks, walkways of debris upon completion of project. • Perform onsite inspection of completed project with BHA assigned representative. Bidders must bring their own ladder/equipment to access the second-floor decks for the job walk.
