*As of April 17, 2022, project was awarded to DiPonio Contracting for $3,874,858.79. The field operations, laboratory testing, and engineering report preparation were performed under direction and supervision of a licensed professional engineer. Our services were performed according to generally accepted standards and procedures in the practice of geotechnical engineering in this area. Our scope of services for this project is as follows: 1. We performed a total of six (6) pavement core and eight (8) soil borings for the project. The six (6) pavement cores were performed along North Hagadorn Street. We performed soil borings, B-1 through B-6, at the six (6) pavement core locations along North Hagadorn Street. Soil borings B-1 through B-4 were extended to a depth of 15 feet. Soil borings B-5 and B-6 were extended to a depth of 20 feet each. Soil boring B-7 was performed along Chester Court, extending to a depth of 15 feet below grade. Soil boring B-8 was drilled through the pavement of West Crest Lane and extended to a depth of 15 feet. 2. We measured and photographed pavement core samples from the route and performed laboratory testing on representative samples obtained from the soil borings. Laboratory testing included visual engineering classification, grain-size distribution, organic matter content (loss-onignition), moisture content, and unconfined compressive strength determinations. 3. We prepared this engineering report.
