The County of St. Clair is accepting bids for A/V Upgrades to the Blue Water Convention
Center.
a) Public Act 517 of 2012
Public Act 517 of 2012 states that all public entities must require all companies
submitting a bid on an RFP to certify that the company is not an Iran-linked
business. Iran-linked businesses may not bid on the contract and each proposer
must provide certification that they are not an Iran-linked business.
18. INSTALLATION
All items will be shipped via the bidder's delivery system. No items will be dropped
shipped to the County. The bidder will provide complete installation. The work site will
be maintained in a clean and safe manner during installation. The bidder will remove all

this document at mmwilliams@stclaircounty.org. or by phone at 810-989-6375 The Owner is seeking to install permanent audio/video systems in each of the rooms of the
Blue Water Convention Center. These facilities are used as rental spaces by a variety of
customers with different audio video needs. Although the operation will be by the Owner's
staff, the systems shall be designed for ease of use by any operator. Some spaces are to be
designed for multi-usage based on the configuration of the rooms.
The following are the rooms where the equipment shall be installed: Huron A & B,
Riverview & St. Clair, Grand Ballroom I & II, Great Lakes Pre-Function Hallway.
Additionally, there are stand-alone TV carts to be assembled for portable use in the facility.
This RFP outlines the performance and operational requirements the Owner is seeking for the
large area AV systems. Detailed specifications for this project are included in Section 2 of
the RFP.
