The project is located at the J Building - Allied Health, Community Service and Theatre Building on the West Campus of Albany State University. The purpose of the project is to to replace the chiller. - Check in with Customer to gain access and go over the installation plan - Disconnect existing power supply at main panel - Isolate existing chiller, drain CW lines and machine - Recover refrigerant, remove existing chiller, and dispose of per code - Receive, deliver, and set new chiller - Reconnect CW and cond water piping to existing lines at nearest ISO valve - Reinsulate CW lines from the chiller to that connection point - Reconnect all ancillary devices and connections that were removed for the swap Including vent piping, gauges, thermometers, flow switches, etc. o Refill all the lines with water o Reconnect main power connections to new chiller o Reconnect controls as follows: 1. Refrigerant monitor, relays, cable, wire, conduit, and miscellaneous accessories. 2. Perform all labor to program, checkout, and assist test and balance contractor, to make the above stated controls equipment work properly according to the written sequence of operations. 3. Tie all newly installed DDC Controls into the existing campus wide building automation system 4. Provide Submittals, As-Built Engineered Drawings, and 10 Year Warranty 5. Provide owner training to instruct the owner on how to use system. - Provide FACTORY startup of new chiller - Run new chiller and check for proper operation - Perform Test and balance of new chiller - Clean up work area
