Scope: Perform tree stump grinding services for the City, as needed. All questions must be referred in writing to Maureen McKeon via email at mckeonmp@worcesterma.gov The bid deposit shall be in the amount of 5% of the value of the bid. A labor and materials payment bond, in the amount of 50% of the contract sum, must be furnished by the general contractor as stated in the bid form. Such bonds must be on the forms contained in the bid documents and must be executed and delivered to the Owner at the time of execution of the contract. Each attorney-in-fact who executes such a bond on behalf of the surety must affix thereto a certified and current copy of his power of attorney This contract will include all tree stump grinding services for a period of one year from date of contract. This contract may be renewed for two additional one-year periods, at the sole discretion of the City, the option of which will be determined by the City at the end of the current contract year. Please refer to page 67 for renewal disclosure. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all general bids which contains erasures, alterations, additions, errors or irregularities of any kind, or which contains proposed prices for any class or item of work which are, in the judgment of the Owner, substantially less or more than the actual cost to complete the work; provided, however, that the Owner reserves the right to waive any and all informalities as to form. Matters as to substance shall not be waived
