The City of Dawson Creek (City) requests quotations for the 2023 and 2024 construction season contract for patching and repair of asphaltic concrete surfaces such as roadways, sidewalks and parking lots within the City of Dawson Creek municipal boundaries. Asphalt concrete pavement repair is done on an as-needed basis with no specified minimum amount of work guaranteed. The contract term begins May 1, 2023 and ends December 31, 2024. Questions regarding specifications can be directed to Kelsey Wozniak, Engineering Assistant, at kwozniak@dawsoncreek.ca. Do not submit bids or pricing information to this email address. Bidders must refer to the RFQ documents for the terms governing the bid process. The City will not accept quotations submitted from companies that are owned by City employees. If submissions exceed the permitted email size of the Bidder or the City, Bidders should submit the Bid in multiple emails indicating on each email the total number of emails being sent (1 of 2, 2 of 2). Emails containing ZIP files are not accepted by the City's server and will be automatically rejected. Please note the City of Dawson Creek remains in Mountain Standard Time year round and does not observe Daylight Savings Time; therefore all submissions must be received by the City no later than the closing time in Dawson Creek, BC. Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. The City is not liable for any delay or non-receipt of emails for any reason including technological delay or issues by either party's network or email program. The City accepts no responsibility for submissions that fail, for any reason, to enter into the City's system by the closing time. As email transmission can be delayed due to high volumes of internet traffic, file transfer size, transmission speed etc., it is the Bidder's responsibility to submit their quotation sufficiently in advance of the closing time to allow for receipt by the City. Bidders submitting email quotations near the deadline, do so at their own risk.
