Buyer's Requirements General Requirements - Contractors License Required - Insurance Required - License Required - Prevailing Wage Required Gainesville Housing Authority is requesting proposals to add to/upgrade the existing attic blown in attic insulation at fourteen (14) 1440 sq. ft. units located at SE 25 th Terrace, Gainesville, Fl 32641 (see Exhibit A). All work is to be performed in accordance with manufactures specifications, industry standards and best work practices. All work is to be performed by skilled and qualified workmen in best practices of the trade and in compliance with Building Regulations and or Government Laws, Statues and Ordinances. Hours of work: Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time excluding all the GHA recognized Holidays. Summary Scope of Work: Furnish and install sufficient insulation using a non-formaldehyde, mold and mildew resistant blow-in insulation. Attach a minimum R-30 insulation to the attic scuttle panel. Contractors are requested to furnish pricing (materials and labor) to add to/upgrade the attic insulation to R-19. Alternate 1: Contractors are requested to furnish pricing (materials and labor) to add to/upgrade the attic insulation to R-38. Contractor is responsible for the removal of, and proper disposal of, all debris, packing materials, etc. Contractor is responsible for construction cleaning of work area.
