SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University (SUNY-DHSU) seeks multiple entities to bid. Vendors must be qualified to provide regulated medical waste ("RMW") and sharps waste removal and in connection with SUNY-DHSU on-campus and satellite locations. Vendor must normally be in the business of providing regulated medical waste and sharps waste removal/disposal services, and must have any and all permits, licenses and authorizations as may be necessary to perform the required services as may be required by New York City, New York State, the Federal government and any other governmental authority with jurisdiction over these services. Additionally, vendor must have at least five (5) years of verifiable experience in performing the required services, and must either now be performing, or in the past three years have performed, such services for at least three (3) hospitals with a minimum number of 300 beds.
