Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Upper Macungie Township in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Pub. 408 Section 103.04 requirements. Any questions regarding the cutting schedule and specifications of the bid should be directed to Scott Faust, Director of Public Works, at 610-395-4892, x119. Upper Macungie Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid which it determines is in its best interests.
