Williamsport Municipal Water Authority (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Frank E. Heller and John C. Youngman Dam Tower Rehabilitations. The Project includes the following Work: Frank E. Heller Dam: Diversion and Control of Water, replacing trash rack mounting hardware at three inlets; inspecting and cleaning low level outlet's upstream and downstream trashracks; replacing gate stems as noted; replacing 18" diameter sluice gate; replace ladder rungs inside tower; replace stem guides as noted; and replacing the trashscreen on the knife gate for the water supply line. John C. Youngman Dam: Diversion and Control of Water, installing stainless steel cotter pin on keyway of 24-inch diameter sluice gate at EL. 1531.0, replacing the low level outlet gate stem guides, repairing concrete inside Cell C located about 30 feet below the gate house floor, removing sediment from the floor of Cell A, removing debris from high intake baffle box, epoxy injecting the reinforced concrete low level outlet pipe at joint with tower on the downstream side, and installing proposed sluice gate at EL. 1494.75 in Cell C; includes installation of stem, stem guides, pedestal, and operator; modify existing concrete structure at the gate house floor, the floor of Cell C, and the partition wall between Cells C and D as required to install proposed gate.
