Renovation of a municipal facility in Round Oak, Georgia. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Project is cancelled, unsure if/when project will rebid The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, materials, tools, supervision, and incidental items required to replace existing 75kW stationary generator and 400-amp outdoor transfer switch with a Natural Gas Fuel Generator rated at least 75kW, 120/240v, 1-phase and compatible 400-amp outdoor transfer switch at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service (USFWS), Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge located at 148 Piedmont Shop Road, Round Oak, GA 31038, in accordance with the following Scope of Work: The USFWS, Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge, has a requirement to replace the old stationary generator at our Shop Building that provides emergency power supply to the station's critical operations during power outages, including emergency fire response and maintenance. The station's location in a rural community, results in frequent power outages, often for extended periods of time. Replacement of the existing generator is necessary because of components in constant need of repair, making the unit unusable.
