Renovation of a military facility in Great Neck, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
This Statement of Work (SOW) describes the Government's requirement for services related to refurbishment of the United States Merchant Marine Academy's (USMMA's) Fulton-Gibbs, which consists of complex two, conjoined academic buildings, Gibbs Hall and Fulton Hall. last day to submit questions to Sunday, 9 April 2023, no later than 11:00 PM. The purpose of this SOW is to refurbish the existing structure of the Fulton-Gibbs complex to meet anticipated minimum operating capability for the next seven to ten years. This includes, but is not limited to: o Roof replacement o Ensuring asbestos in the flooring has been abated; o Installing new flooring; o Lighting upgrades o Emergency Shower updates o Fume hood upgrades o Facility painting o Window repairs o Installing exhaust systems in the welding and diesel labs (a mechanical study and design will be performed to direct this effort). All questions pertaining to this RFP, to include questions resulting from the site visit must be submitted electronically to usmmaproposals@dot.gov
