Sealed bids from qualified Contractors will be received by the Village of West Haverstraw for the replacement of approximately 1 16+- linear ft. of concrete curb and sidewalk, inclusive of a 14 ft.+- wide dropdown driveway at the gate into the cemetery, and curb ramp at westerly end, all as set forth in the project specifications and Scope of Work. Bids must be submitted on official forms and in sealed envelopes at the above physical address and shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the bidder, and addressed to the "Bid for Curb and Sidewalk Replacement, Calico Hill Veterans Memorial Cemetery". All bids must be accompanied by a Statement of Non-Collusion in conformity with the requirement of Section 103-d of the General Municipal Law, as amended, and bid security in a sum equal to the 10% of the amount bid. Bids are requested from any and all parties including but not limited to minority businesses and enterprises operated and conducted by women. The Village reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids. Bids shall be awarded in accordance with General Municipal Law 103. Remove and dispose of the existing 116+- linear foot of concrete curbing and sidewalk immediately in front ofthe Calico Hill Veterans Memorial Cemetery at 31 West Railroad Ave., Garnerville, N.Y., Install 116+- linear ft. of new concrete curbing, with a 4-inch reveal, and 116+- linear ft. of adjacent 4 ft. by 4 ft. concrete sidewalk. Included within, and as a part of, the 116+- linear ft. replacement is an approximately 14+- linear ft. dropdown driveway entry with sidewalk and a handicap ramp and curb depression, all as shown on the attached drawings, Related cleanup.
