As of October 31, 2024, this project has been shut down by the town board and is no longer being sought. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The Town of Philadelphia, Jefferson County, New York, will be accepting statements of qualifications from qualified firms for the following: Engineering Services in connection with NYSEFC Principal Forgiveness Grant and NYSEFC 0% Interest hardship loan programs to finance a new water district project, with an estimated total project cost of $6,787,746. The project will create a new water district to service roughly 73 residences, businesses, farmlands, and vacant lots with water, The project will not only improve the quality of drinking water in the district. The project will also allow for increased fire protection through this section of the Town with the addition of hydrants. Qualifications will be evaluated on the following factors: Specified experience and technical expertise of the firm in connection with the type of services to be provided, especially the knowledge and experience which has led to the successful completion of prior NYSEFC funded water projects. Past record of performance on contracts with the community and other clients including quality of work, timeliness, and cost control. Capacity of firm to perform the work within time limitations, taking into consideration the current and planned workload of the firm. The Town of Philadelphia is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer. The Town of Philadelphia will award a contract to the Engineering firm deemed most qualified to provide services as requested. The contract(s) will include scope and extent of work and other essential requirements. The Town of Philadelphia reserves the right to reject any and all proposals. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time
