Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) will be hosting a bid for some modifications made to two (2) 16" Cameron T31 valves. See Modifications Attachment for full disclosure of work to be done. Please include a breakdown of parts/materials, labor of modifications and freight (pickup and delivery). Valves are located at 1015 East Jackson Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37915 and shall be delivered to 4505 Middlebrook Pike, Knoxville, TN 37921. All materials must be manufactured by US Steel and hard copies of mill test reports, BOL, MTR, x-rays and packing slips for all materials must be provided on delivery. Please email electronic copies separately. Delivery is expected by May 1, 2023 but KUB reserves the right to delay delivery for up to 60 days to meet project restrictions. Modifications to 16" Cameron T-31 Valve will include; the installation of 3' Pups (16" O.D., .375 W.T. X-52, Beveled End), Modification from Cameron T-31 "80030223" to "80030223A" (Changing valve operator from "Worm gear with 2" square nut" to "Worm gear with right-angle pinion shaft extension and 2" Square nut", Extension of 2" Nut, Lube / Bleed Lines Shall be extended between 4.5' - 6.5' (KUB to clarify at time of award), 14-16 mils FBE Shop Coat and 28 mils minimum thickness (Skotchkote 323 or equivelant)
