STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Saline Area Schools is requesting bid proposals for the purchase and installation of Audio/Video components and cabling. These components will replace existing end-points. Saline High School 1300 Campus Parkway Saline, MI 48176 Liberty (Admin+ Alternative HS) 7265 North Ann Arbor St. Saline, MI 48176 SCOPE OF WORK: This RFP consists of one bid category with one alternate. Bidders must submit a bid for the entire scope of work related to the bid category but may choose to not include submission for the alternate. The successful Bidder(s) will be responsible for demolishing and removing the existing systems in their entirety. Bidders are to review the entire set of bid proposal documents for all bid categories to include coordination items required between bid categories. There will be a detailed walkthrough of the buildings after a bid is selected to review the locations of existing, as well as locations for new installations of components. If additional components are required, they will be billed at per unit pricing. Completion of this project to be no later than January 1, 2024. Bids must be received by 11:00 AM on Thursday October 6th, 2022. Bids received after the due date/time will not be considered. A public bid opening will be held Friday October 6th, 2022 at 11:05 AM in the Liberty School Board Room. Saline Area Schools is exempt from paying Michigan Sales Tax for purchase of equipment and sales tax should not be included in the bid. Saline Area Schools reserves the right to award components of the bid to various vendors. Saline Area Schools shall not be bound by the lowest proposal price and will determine selected dealer based on price, estimated delivery date, value, condition of equipment and how closely components identified match the bid specifications.
