The project scope is limited to replace two (2) cast iron wye fittings and 50 Ft. of 15" storm drain leaving the building. Project to include review of the buried storm drainage piping leading into the storm sump pit. Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing piping, and supply and install new piping and valves of similar size. Contractor shall fill excavated area and repave roadway and walkway areas where needed. Manholes will be reused and shall be clean and clear of debris. Any minor cracks to be remediated to prevent leaks. The 50 FT. length to be verified if it is right at the property line or to the city utilities. Refer to the entire study document under 1080605 to determine the length end of the 50 ft. All work should meet appropriate codes, standards, and IO guidelines. Scope Questions: 1. Since there have been no major repairs in the past three (3) years, does the consultant need to verify the study findings and comment on them Prime consultant to carry out their due diligence inspection in addition to the study. 2. Scope location: 1 location at 7th floor (Figure 30 - page 15 of the study). Confirmed 1 location at basement (Figure 31 - page 16 of the study). Confirmed For 15" pipe location, it is to be identified during the design stage 3. How many roof drains are to be cleaned from debris Multiple drains to be inspected. Figure 32 on page 16 is for guidance purposes only. Anything that is related to the underground system renewal to be considered in the project scope. Any other system components within the 50 Ft length are to be included. Study section 5.4.2. to be included in the project scope. o Out of Scope: o Replacement of cast iron pipes (not underground), podium deck drains, parking garage drains, exterior catch basins, and roof drainage. o Any item isn't included in the above-mentioned scope of work.
