To Provide the Irvington Park Soccer Field and Other Park Improvements as per specifications for the Essex County Department of Public Works. Project completion to be (120) calendar days after notice to proceed upon approval by the Essex County Board of Commissioners. No pre-bid conference for this project All questions must be submitted to the Purchasing Agent in writing at 465 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Room 335, Newark, NJ 07102, or via fax to 973-621-5109, no later than eight (8) business days prior to deadline for bid submission date as stated above. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supervision and services necessary for the proper removal of existing synthetic turf and in-fill; installation of new synthetic turf(w/ new in-fill) and other related work indicated on the drawings and specified herein at the soccer field. The following Standard Specifications and Codes shall be considered a part ofthis specification where such specifications are applicable, and shall include all current changes and revisions: o New Jersey Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, current edition. o American Society for Testing and Materials. o Ordinances and Laws ofthe State ofNew Jersey, County and Municipality within which the work is being performed. o Sports Court Construction Guidelines" as published by the American Sports Builders Association www.sportsbuilders.org. Work under this project shall include, but not limited to, the following: => Installation and Maintenance of Soil Erosion and Sediment Control Measures => Removal / Disposal of existing chain-link fence => Installation ofnew chain-link fence (various sizes) => Removal / Disposal of existing synthetic turfsystem => Installation ofnew synthetic turfsystem => New asphalt walkway and asphalt repair (if and where directed by engineer) => Installation ofsite furnishings i.e., trash receptacles, benches, etc.
