The City of Middletown is accepting qualifications from firms who shall be responsible to determine lead and lead coated service lines in approximately 2700 homes in the City of Middletown. The City of Middletown (City) is seeking proposals from qualified firms and consultants (Consultant) to assist and provide services to the City, in order to develop an inventory and be in compliance with the LCRR for its water system by October 2024. The City owns and operates its own water treatment plants that supplies water to over 41,000 customers (with approximately 11,600 service connections). All proposals are subject to and must comply with the equal opportunity and non-discriminatory provisions set forth in the Affirmative Action Plan of the City of Middletown. The City of Middletown reserves the right to waive any defect in any proposal and reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or any part thereof. Proposals, amendments to or withdrawals of proposals received after the time set for the receipt of proposals will not be considered.
