Renovation of a mixed-use development in Morenci, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
1. Furnish all equipment, materials, cable, labor, and engineering services to provide complete and professionally installed systems in working order and in accordance with good engineering practice. 2. Coordinate with Morenci Area Schools Director of School Facilities, Operations and Maintenance to ensure the necessary accommodations are made related to the facility networks and internet (e.g. VLAN requirements, network topology, security, et al.). 3. Coordinate with Morenci Area Schools Director of School Facilities, Operations and Maintenance as required to ensure timely progress and successful integration of the telephone system. 4. Install, pull, and terminate all wire and cable as required for a successful installation. 5. Furnish any additional items, not specifically mentioned herein, to meet good engineering practice, without claim for additional payment. 6. Furnish additional items not specifically mentioned herein as required to provide a fully functioning telephone system. 7. Furnish shop drawings to the Morenci Area Schools Director of School Facilities, Operations and Maintenance approval prior to procurement, fabrication, and installation. 8. Perform initial adjustments, verification tests, and final adjustments. 9. Provide training of owner's staff on all telephone system items listed. 10. Provide system documentation including copies of all relevant as-built documentation, equipment manuals, and equipment close out documentation. 11. Provide maintenance and warranty services for the specified period from the date of acceptance. 12. Note that the scope of work described in this specification includes all materials and/or installation hardware for the successful completion of the telephone system specification. The Morenci Area School District is requesting proposals from qualified vendors interested in providing a new district wide telephone system for each location/school buildings. Morenci Area Schools reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to waive any formality or technicality in any proposal in the best interest of the Morenci Area School District. Morenci Area School District also reserves the right to determine equivalency. Award shall be made to the respondent deemed most capable of providing the complete system and support deemed to most effectively meets the Morenci Area School District needs, taking into account the proposals and evaluation factors herein outlined. Bid Response Format: 1. Bidder shall provide a complete bid as described herein. a. One (1) hard copy format response shall be in a tabulated format. Each response shall have tab indicators for each section. 2. All bid response formats shall be clearly externally marked to include; but not be limited to: 1) Bidder Identification 2) Project Owners Identification 3) Project Name 4) Bid Submission Date 3. Bid Response shall include an index of documents: 1) Bid Response/ Document 2) Project Description/ Cost 3) Michigan Familial Relationship Disclosure Statement 4) Iran Linked Business Affidavit 5) Contract Exceptions.
