For Plumbing Services Salem District The Virginia Department of Transportation (herein referred to as VDOT) is soliciting bids from Virginia Licensed Plumbing contractors, with a minimum of five (5) years' experience, to provide Plumbing maintenance, repairs, improvements and renovations for facilities located within the Salem District, which is comprised of the counties of Bedford, Giles, Montgomery, Pulaski, Carroll, Floyd, Henry, Patrick, Franklin, Botetourt, Craig, Roanoke and selected areas within the cities of Salem and Roanoke. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision to complete the services described herein on an on-call, as needed basis. Period of contract will be for one (1) year, with begin date to be determined at time of award. (Renewable for four additional periods.) Any changes resulting from this conference will be issued in a written addendum to the solicitation. The bid opening will begin promptly at the time indicated. At the start of the conference the VDOT Representative will conduct a roll call to identify the individuals participating on the call. The provisions of 2.2-4342 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, shall be applicable to the inspection of bids received.
