Only tenders prepared on the official tender forms provided by the City of Blainville will be considered. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified cheque, bank draft or an unconditional and irrevocable bank guarantee letter or a bid bond in the amount of $30,000 in favor of the City of Blainville, as bid guarantee. . If the tender security is in the form of a bond, the tender must also be accompanied by a letter of intent from an insurance company authorized to operate in Quebec and certifying that a performance bond equivalent to fifty ( 50%) percent of the total value of the contract will be granted to the tenderer in the event that the contract is awarded to him. The City of Blainville does not undertake to accept either the lowest or any of the tenders received and it will not incur any obligation or costs of any kind whatsoever towards the tenderer(s).
