As of April 24,2023, project was awarded to Youngblood Paving, awarded amount is $103,867.66. The Municipality of New Beaver Borough, PA, is requesting proposals for Street Paving. The base bid includes bituminous milling, base repair, and asphalt paving on Clyde Street. There will be 1 (one) optional bid. This work will be performed under one (1) general contracts. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid surety bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the price of the bid, which sum shall be specifically set forth in the surety bond with a reference to the specific bidding document, as a guarantee that if the proposal be accepted a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured. New Beaver Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make such award as most advantageous to the Municipality. Bids may be held by the Municpality for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders, prior to awarding the contract or rejecting any or all bids.
